There are many options when you plan to buy new cushions for your Wegner GE290 armchair. It is important to buy the cushions from a place you trust, so that the work is carried out professionally and is 100% in order. In addition, it is particularly important to make sure that the materials are of good quality - both in terms of the cold foam used, the quality of the leather and that the craftsmanship is right in the cupboard. There is an incredibly big difference between leather, even if you call it aniline or semi-aniline, so you have to be a little careful.

It is quite possible to make a cushion set in basic semi-aniline 'leather' for as little as DKK 3,200, but the quality and breathability are usually not good. Typically, the leather is corrected and has a strong surface treatment in the form of paint, after which the structure is printed on the surface.

FYI, it is slightly more expensive in terms of sewing to make a cushion set in leather than in fabric, as it is very time-consuming and requires high precision.
